This may sound silly but the stats are undeniable. Just think about this for a second when does Manning play his worst football in the cold, when has Price pitched his worse in cold. Does Manning play well in the playoffs absolutely not he is 13-13 and the games he has won the rest of the team has stepped up. I do not recall one game where he was the star. David Price in the playoffs 2-7 with a 5.12 ERA. There are definitively similarities here and you cannot deny it.

I do not have an exact record for Manning when it is less than 50 degrees out but it is definitely under .500. David Price when it is less than 50 degrees out is 6-6 with a 4.71 ERA and 1.37 WHIP. You starting to see the similarities here both players cannot play in the cold nor can they play in the playoffs.

But when conditions are perfect they will perform perfect. You cannot deny when the conditions are perfect Manning does not play well. I found that Price is the same way when it is between 60 and 90 degrees Price is 101-45 with a 2.94 ERA and 1.12 WHIP. You cannot complain about those stats when the conditions are good he will play good sounds a lot like Manning.

Call me crazy but I think there are too many similarities to not call David Price the Peyton Manning of Baseball.
