Hard working, classy, reliable…all traits associated with Miami Dolphins WR Davone Bess. The undrafted free agent wide receiver from Hawii is rumored to be on his way out from Miami. Davone Bess a fan favorite had been rumored all summer to be a possible trade target and as the draft approaches us tomorrow nigh it appears it might now be a reality.
Below are a couple of tweets on the situation

I'd caution that the situation is very fluid, but I don't currently believe Dolphins will trade Bess until after they've made first-rd pick.

Yes, the Dolphins have begun actively shopping Davone Bess. And yes, it's part of an offseason plan they've debated for more than a month.
Sources tell me 99.9% receiver Davone Bess from Miami to Cleveland Browns for mid round picks.
Davone Bess is indeed on the trade block, and multiple teams have interest. At this point, it would be more of a surprise if he isn't moved.
Davone Bess has been one of few recent success stories of this organization as has come to work and competed day in and day out for this team. In his 5 years in Miami Bess caught 321 balls and scored 12 touchdowns. Bess had over 50 receptions in each of his seasons in Miami including a career high 79 receptions in 2010.
I had the pleasure of both meeting and interviewing Davone Bess and can say the Dolphins would truly be letting go one of the best guys this lock room has had in years. That being said Bess had one year left on his contract and with Brandon Gibson and Mike Wallace being brought in and the idea of drafting a quicker playmaker is simply a better fit for this team to move forward.
If Davone Bess is traded that would make him the 7th started from 2012 roster which the team has moved on from.
While many won't be able to come to terms to saying it despite the fact that Davone Bess will be sorely missed for this team it most likely is for the best.
