It’s unclear when DeMarcus Cousins will make his debut with the Warriors, but he has been practicing with the team, as he attempts to recover from an Achilles injury he suffered in January.
Cousins already seems to be regaining some of the explosiveness that made him so dominant, as evidenced by a recent video of him practicing, which quickly went viral.
In it, Cousins is seen playing 1-on-1 against teammate Kevin Durant in practice. He drove the lane, then used a great pivot move to get closer to the basket, which allowed him to throw down a powerful dunk over Durant. This posterization is worth watching a number of times.

Not only that, Cousins also blocked Durant’s attempt at a scoop shot from close range.

We can’t wait to see Cousins suiting up for action in a regular-season game with his new team, which will likely happen some time in the next few weeks.
