Clippers head coach Doc Rivers completely lost his cool during Tuesday’s game against the Nets.
Maybe he was frustrated because his team was losing to a squad that had a 4-12 record heading into the game, or maybe he was just fed up with the officiating. It’s likely that his anger was stemming from a bit of both.
Whatever the reason, Rivers went berserk in the final seconds of the first overtime period, with the Nets leading, 117-115. He angrily shouted at officials Lauren Holtkamp and Kenny Mauer after a foul was called on Brandon Bass, and had to be restrained by Clippers players.
