In the ironies of all ironies, the Dolphins found themselves beating a worthy opponent and rival of the Buffalo Bills…after pursuing the once sought after quarterback Kyle Orton back in 2011.

Tonight, the Dolphins, finding themselves on the outside looking in in the playoff picture at 5-4, vaulted themselves upwards in the playoff race after a gutsy, never say die performance.

With the Dolphins down 6-3 at halftime, with a close game of only three series for the Dolphins, something changed at half time.

The defense became more relentless in the third quarter with the emergence of cornerback Jamar Taylor making tackle after tackle, he finished with seven.  The offense became energized like a smoothie at Jamba, with the flavor of they year in Jarvis Juice Landry who finished the game with a game sealing touchdown after fumbling a punt and then fighting his way, by any means necessary to the end zone.  The score put the Dolphins up 19-9, and fans all over Dolphins Twitter could sense victory was in the air.  Sure the safety was nice after Orton misfired, but hey, that was just a stepping stone of what was to come.

Tonight’s line by the Dolphins swashbuckler, signal caller, and tough Texan was a 114.8 rating, 26/34 and two touchdowns despite one costly first half fumble. For Tannehill, he’s the leader and quarterback of a 6-4 Miami Dolphins.

Up next, is the Denver Broncos.  Up next is a chance to show the world, that the Miami Dolphins, can win and can show up another sought after QB in Peyton Manning after being spurned the second year in a row.  The narrative will go stronger as the Dolphins face the quarterback that questioned their organizational structure.

Wouldn’t it be sweet to see the Dolphins ride into their 6-4 horse into Denver and beat the pants off the Broncos?  Oh yes it would!  Time for the Dolphins to not let the tough losses get them down…this win over the Bills can take them to new heights.
