Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder is a diehard Cubs fan, and he has been seen a lot around Wrigley Field recently interacting with fans and taking in the playoff atmosphere.
Vedder came through for a fan on Tuesday with a pretty cool gesture, which speaks volumes about the type of person he is.
A Cubs fan threw a baseball from Wrigley Field over to Murphy’s Bleachers, which is the bar Vedder was hanging out at. He then autographed the ball, took a few steps and launched the ball back to Wrigley Field.

The fan ended up with an autographed ball when it was all said and done.

Vedder has quite the arm. Maybe he can help provide some depth for the Cubs’ bullpen.
