Just today, we have learned that star Patriots WR Julian Edelman underwent another foot surgery to clean up of what’s left from his broken foot this past year and to reinsert the screw into his foot. NFL’s Ian Rapoport reported this along with Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Julian Edelman recently was spotted in NYC with a “big boot” on foot, riding around on a motorized device. Surgery was "cleanup procedure."

Edelman has been a very productive receiver from the time we drafted him and molded him into a wide receiver. Injuries to Edelman throughout his career have been fortunately non career ending as we learned that this is a very minor surgery that should have him running routes by camp.
