A very entertaining game last night as the Bruins and Panthers squared off in Sunrise, Florida. A game where the Bruins blew not just one but two three goal leads to the Panthers. The Bruins would manage to stop the comeback effort with a late overtime goal. Lee Stempniak scored his first goal as a Bruin and it was a big one as secured the Bruins with a second point.
The Florida comeback was sparked by Shawn Thornton as he would drop the gloves with old teammate Adam McQuaid. You can watch it below.
There were no hurt feelings as you could see both McQuaid and Thornton smiling on their way to the penalty box. Bruins coach Claude Julien even chuckled a little after the fight.
