The world of technology changes every day and the NFL is looking to keep up to date with what is new. The next step from them would be to make their online streaming services better. So NBC and CBS should watch out because companies such as Facebook, Verizon, and Amazon are all bidding on streaming rights for the NFL.
This all coming after Yahoo paid $20 Million to exclusively stream the Bills vs. Jaguars game in London last year. Think of it that’s $20 million of two teams nobody wants to watch. So these huge amounts of money we are talking about.
This report coming from Peter Kafka of recode.net. Is online streaming the future of the NFL? The money is there, I can’t see why this would not work for fans who are on the go.
