Firing on all Cylinders

The Boston Red Sox are absolutely dominating right now as they improve to a season-high 9 games over .500 (22-13) with their win over the Astros last night. It’s not that they are just winning they are tearing apart the competition as they have scored 11+ runs in four straight games the first time the Sox have done this sense June of 1950.

Last night also was a historic night for the Sox as it was the first time in Fenway Park history that the Sox have had 8+ runs and 12+ hits in 6 consecutive game. This is an incredible run the Sox are on and it will be one for the history books.

It is finally nice to see that Fenway is a home field advantage for the Sox as in past year that has not been the case. In the past month the Sox have recorded some incredible stats well playing at Fenway including 43 doubles and 29 home runs in the past 17 games.

A good chunk of the Sox recent success has gone to none other than Jackie Bradly JR. Who extended his hit streak to 18 games last night and now has the longest active streak in all of baseball. Bradly JR. Has to be one of the hottest players in all of baseball right now hitting a .412 with 6 home runs and 25 RIB’s.

It’s rare that you can look down the Red Sox line up and go everyone is hot and hitting. Usually it’s only three or four people but now the Sox are firing on all cylinders and everybody in the lineup is hitting.

The Sox will be back on the field tonight as they get set to play the Astros in game number 2 of 3 at Fenway Park.
