On a day, when things were not looking to well early on for the Dolphins with dropped passes and missed blocks in 7 on 7 drills; Mike Wallace stole the show with a practice for the ages.
On the first play from scrimmage, the Dolphins offense opened up with a crafty double reverse featuring the likes of Brian Hartine, back from being limited last week, with a handoff to Mike Wallace.
Mike Wallace just gained 20 on a double reverse. Fun stuff.

Next, Mike Wallace sprinted through second year corner Will Davis and scored on a 17 yard pass from Ryan Tannehill with incredibly nice touch per most reporters on hand to watch practice. Said the Miami Herald’s Armando Salguero:
Tannehill with a nice 17-yard TD to Mike Wallace over Willie Davis.

Lastly, Wallace puts up a third TD after hauling a 25 yard touchdown pass. Again, this time, over Brent Grimes who was abused all over the field today. In fact two-time Pro Bowler Brent Grimes was beat by Mike Wallace three times (one from Matt Moore) and newcomer Damian Williams who scored a red-zone touchdown.
Damian Williams just caught a red zone TD from Ryan Tannehill. On who? Brent Grimes, who yells "DAMN!"

Today, Mike Wallace and Ryan Tannehill are winning. Overall, it’s refreshing to see Wallace, take on the high expectations after a down first season in Miami and dominate in practice today.
What’s more remarkable is that Wallace managed to trust his instincts, his ability, and just go out and make plays. Something we could all get used to as Dolphins fans.
As for Brent Grimes, he’ll surely find away to get back at Mike Wallace for looking poorly today. He will have his day in a future practice. Grimes is too much of a professional and too good to let this victory go to the proverbial head of the Dolphins offense.
