Saturday December 12th will be a big moment for three finalists who have been recognized as the premier college football players. Here are the finalists for this years Heisman trophy. This may be he most even based voting system in a while with these three finalists.
Also YOU can vote your finalist winner on my poll I created at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KTYGD7J
Alabama RB Derrick Henry- 6’3 240 pounds
Henry is beast mode of the Tide. His presence is known when Alabama decides to do a running play and they open the gap and Henry is one on one with the linebacker. Chances are, Henry will bulldoze you. His 339 carries for the season actually were more than the Washington State Cougars rushing attempts this entire year. Many stats look to be pointing towards Henry to win the prestigious award but the other two candidates aren’t calling it quits.
Clemson QB Deshaun Watson
Watson is the ultimate dual threat mismatch for any team. His 41 all purpose touchdowns (30 passing 11 rushing) is enough to push him up the ladder wile toppling 3500 passing yards as well. Guiding the Tigers to a 13-0 record looks good on any resume and especially with an Heisman Trophy in hand. I personally like Watson and his ability to tackle opponents with his legs and arm efficiently through the whole season.
Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey
This guy flew outta nowhere in the polls. McCaffrey when you look on the tape and the stat lines, is ridiculous. His 3,496 all purpose yards tops all time great Barry Sanders from the Oklahoma State University. McCaffrey is also the Pac-12 offensive player of the year which to a sophomore, is insane to think about. His ceiling is high and junior year will be full of wild expectations.
