It seems like every week a key player goes down with some type of injury. For tonight’s Sunday night matchup between the Patriots and Broncos, the Pats will be down some key players.
One of the biggest ones being Danny Amendola who went down with a knee injury in Monday night’s game. On Wednesday night he did not practice and on Thursday and Friday was limited in practice. Amendola did not make the trip to Denver.
The Patriots have 7 players on the weekly injury report who are listed as doubtful. Jamie Collins (Illness), Marcus Cannon (Toe), Tre’ Jackson (Knee), Chandler Jones (Abdomen), Shaq Mason (Knee), and Sebastian Volmer (Concussion).
Matthew Slater is expected to play after not practicing on Wednesday. He was back participating 100% on Thursday and Friday. As all Pats fans can agree Slater is probably the most underrated players on the team. If he was not playing that would be a huge special teams hit for the Patriots.
It is going to be a fun one tonight; there is an 85% chance of snow showers. Get ready to see the Patriots take care of business in the snow!
