He was a great tight end during his tenure in the NFL, but Jason Witten’s inaugural campaign as an analyst for ESPN has been an epic fail.
Witten was on the other end of social media roasts nearly every Monday of the regular season, and it’s unclear what his role in the booth will look like in 2019 — or if he’ll even be there at all.
Unfortunately for viewers who thought they were done with him for the season, Witten was back at it for the Pro Bowl on Sunday. His commentary, as usual, was dreadful, but his biggest fail actually came after the game. Witten attempted to hoist the trophy so he could hand it to Jamal Adams, and, well, he broke it.

He’s obviously never lifted a trophy before, as it’s imperative to lift from the bottom, otherwise, well, that happens.
Adams’ reaction was hilarious, though.
