The NFL continued their series of The Top 100 Players of 2011, as voted exclusively by the players themselves. Tonight 40-31 were revealed, and Jason Witten was voted the #36 best player by his peers. I honestly, thought Witten would have gone in the 20s at the minimum. Vernon Davis narrated Witten’s piece, he said Witten had the best hands in the NFL among receivers and tight ends. Good stuff.
Here’s tonight’s list:
#40 Terrell Suggs, Ravens
#39 Logan Mankins, Patriots
#38 Steven Jackson, Rams
#37 Jonathan Vilma, Saints
#36 Jason Witten, Cowboys
#35 Vince Wilfork, Patriots
#34 Jahri Evans, Saints
#33 Jamaal Charles, Chiefs
#32 Devin Hester, Bears
#31 Reggie Wayne, Colts
The Cowboys voted in earlier were, Gurode (#57) Ratliff (#75), Romo (#72) and Miles Austin (#70)
With 5 of 6 Cowboys voted into the top 100, Ware is the last Cowboy to voted in, let’s see where he lands.
Stay tuned!
