San Diego Chargers rookie linebacker Joey Bosa didn’t need long to record his first career sack.
After a contract standoff and an injury, Bosa hit his first NFL game with power and poise, blowing past the Oakland Raiders to take down Derek Carr with his team up 10-6.
Bosa’s wecome-to-the-NFL moment:

Not bad, but merely a taste of what’s to come from the hyped rookie. San Diego has waited patiently with Bosa and expected plays like this when they took him at No. 3 in the 2016 draft.
I've seen one half, but its more than enough: Joey Bosa is the real deal

Joey Bosa’s been playing really well in his first game. Absolute handful to deal with, even for an elite OL.

First three snaps for Joey Bosa. Two pass rushes off right edge, one pressure. More important — no injuries. https://t.co/lNvbmz5Bwk

Not bad praise for a guy who just made his pro debut.
Stay tuned to see what Bosa manages next.
