When you win the AL East you don’t have to take any crap from fans of other teams who are not making the playoff. At least that seems to be the John Farrell method.
At last nights Red Sox Vs. Yankees game, Ortiz’s last game at Yankees stadium a fan went down to the Red Sox dugout. I think it was a Sox fan but I could be wrong. All was well until that fan started asking Farrell about coaching decisions and the importance of winning every game as we are in the fight for the #1 seed.
Farrell had a perfect one line response that silenced the heckler immediately. Watch the video below.
