Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is a veteran, and his pre-snap reads are sharp. If the wrong play is called against a specific look on defense, he knows.
A camera recently picked up his reaction in the team’s game against the Bears awhile back, when he knew a run probably wasn’t the right option. The Bears stacked the box and were waiting for it, and the result of the play was a very short gain.
Romo knew it was a bust before the ball was even snapped.
“Damn it!” he said.

Romo will probably be spending a lot more time on the sideline this season, as well as Dak Prescott is playing.
