With the return back to Los Angeles, I think it’s safe to say the Rams need to bring back the throwback uniforms. Aka the Los Angeles Rams colors. Fans have been waiting the change since day 1, and so does Fox Sports.
Fox Sports, wrote an article on the 10 best throwback jerseys in NFL History, and well the Rams were ranked one of the best. Coming in at No.2 The Los Angeles Rams throwback jerseys.
The franchise first wore these striking uni’s in 1988, and they have been a fan favorite ever since. That combination of royal blue offset by bright yellow gold numbers and horns that wrap around the sleeves has aged quite well — and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the team go back to it full-time now that it is back in LA. The only potential eyesore is the team’s decision to wear a navy-blue helmet, instead of the same hue on the jersey.
The Rams could have the potential of bringing back the classic look when they open up the new stadium, but for the moment, we can still admire one of the best uniforms in NFL History.
