Mandatory Credit: Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports HBO’s “Hard Knocks” with the Los Angeles Rams is entertaining, if nothing else.
In Tuesday night’s episode, Rams defensive end William Hayes made some interesting revelations about himself. He believes mermaids exists, but doesn’t think dinosaurs ever did.
“There could be (mermaids),” Hayes told Los Angeles Rams safety T.J. McDonald. “They find different species in the water every single day.”
Rams coach Jeff Fisher said Hayes isn’t making his up. He definitely believes what he’s saying.
“I remember him getting really excited about the potential for moving out here because he knew he would be closer to mermaids here on the West Coast,” Fisher said of Hayes, who is in his ninth season out of Winston-Salem State.
“Will Hayes absolutely believes and is totally convinced, that there are mermaids and they do exist." #HardKnocks https://t.co/AiDetIsXar

Believing in mermaids is one thing, but Hayes added he can’t fathom a world in which Tyrannosaurus Rex roamed the Earth, which is something “man ain’t never seen.”
“Dinosaurs never really existed,” Hayes told teammates. “They never existed because… that’s not true.
“I don’t believe in dinosaurs. Dinosaurs never walked this earth.”
Scientific evidence and fossils be damned.
