It was yet another case of the Seattle Seahawks barely outscoring their opponents, with the Los Angeles Rams set to go 0-2 to start their rebirth season. Only one team would score a passing touchdown, as Russell Wilson held a sterling 26 of 36 completion rate on passing attempts for 323 yards and a touchdown.
Oddly enough, the rushing game for Seattle was nixed fairly early, with Russell Wilson and Thomas Rawls being stopped for 30 and 38 yards, respectively.
For the most part, it was a kicker’s duel between Greg Zuerlein and Steven Hauschka. Zuerlein went 3-3 in his kicks, with a long one going for 55 yards. Hauschka was the one to blink, missing a 57-yard attempt.
It could have been the difference in a game with just three total touchdowns, but with failed two-point conversions to end the 4th quarter, the Seahawks stumbled their way to victory.
