Manny Machado was a one-man wrecking crew during Friday night’s game against the Angels.
Machado crushed three home runs and accounted for seven RBIs, which is actually the same number of runs the Angels scored.
The Orioles third baseman came to the plate with a 7-5 lead and the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning. For some reason, the Angels decided to pitch to him, and they paid for it.
Machado got a 98 mph fastball up in the zone, and he didn’t miss it. The ball sailed into the Orioles bullpen for a walk-off grand slam.
