Former Boston Bruins forward Marc Savard might be coming back to the Bruins but this time as a coach. Savard who’s playing career ended in the late 2010-2011 Bruins season because of post-concussion syndrome might be looking to get back into hockey but in a different way. Savard has been very vocal on Twitter about his connection to the Bruins as he consistently sends out good luck tweets and was sharing hope with fans throughout the past series vs. the Senators.

But a day after the Bruins dropped game 6 to the Senators at the TD Garden in overtime 3-2 Savard sent out a tweet that I found rather interesting. Savard said, “maybe I could help Bruce next year #PPcoach” the “#PPcoach” referring to being a power play coach one of Savard’s specialties during his playing career.
I tried my best to be positive and push the boys but it's tough to do from a cell phone!! Maybe I could help Bruce next year #PPcoach 😉

Will Savard become a coach of the Boston Bruins? You never know, but that would be very interesting as he would then be coaching four of his past teammates who still play for the Bruins, Chara, Bergeron, Marchand and Rask.
Marc Savard was drafted 91st overall by the New York Rangers back in 1995. He played for a whole slew of teams including the Rangers, Flames twice, Maple Leafs, and Thrashers before becoming a Bruin for the 2006-2007 season.
Savard played for the Bruins for 5 years playing 304 games with 74 goals and 231 assists. Savard was on the Bruins roster for the 2011 cup run but did not play due to post-concussion syndrome.
