Last night the Executive Vice President of Football Operations Troy Vincent tweeted that the NFL will be making an “educational training video for players to show clear examples of appropriate and inappropriate celebrations.” This sounds like one of the worst ideas I have every heard and Martellus Bennett is thinking the same thing as he took to Twitter ranting about the decision.
I just do not get why we would possibly need a video showing what players can and can not do after scoring a touchdown let the players do what they want. At the end of the day, they are the reason people are watching the game. I do not know of anyone who is not watching NFL football because the celebrations are too excessive.
Here is Bennett’s full Twitter Rant:

Needless to say, Martellus Bennett is not happy and will have nothing to do with the NFL’s “educational” touchdown celebration video.
