With the release of the 2013 NFL schedule, we are one step closer to a very important season for the Miami Dolphins that should answer several questions about the team. Will Ryan Tannehill emerge as a top tier quarterback? Will the Dolphins offseason additions pay off? Will Miami be successful enough to save General Manager Jeff Ireland's job? The answers to these questions remain mysteries however what is known are the opponents the Dolphins will play against in the season that marks the 40th anniversary of the team's last Super Bowl victory.
On paper, the schedule is quite difficult especially the first five weeks where the Dolphins take on three 2012 playoff teams. Although it appears challenging, the season will provide a clear perspective of where exactly this team stands amongst their AFC rivals. One thing is for sure, a Dolphins playoff apperance this year will not be a fluke.
