It’s often that brawls on the mound take place between MLB division rivals, but other times even the biggest fights can erupt out of nowhere.
That’s what happened on Thursday afternoon, when the Yankees and Tigers got into an all-out brawl, with nothing really leading up to that point.
It started when the Yankees appeared to throw at Miguel Cabrera, which he obviously did not like. Afterward, he and catcher Austin Romine got in each other’s faces and had some words at home plate, with Miggy later shoving Austin. He then threw a punch, and it was on after that.
Benches cleared and an all-out brawl then erupted.

Gary Sanchez threw some punches as well.

Cabrera and Romine were ejected, and we can expect suspensions in the near future.
