Last week we debuted the MLS Twitter Best XI. A “team” made up of your favorite MLS players on Twitter. Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen won the fan vote to earn his spot on the team. Once again, we have taken nominations from the fans and will leave it up to you to vote for the best player. We’ll leave it up to you on what you want to base your vote on; funniest guy, most interactive, best looking, our maybe a player on your favorite team. We have tried to represent as much of the league as possible with these nominees and there is a great group.
Today we will unveil the defenders. There are 4 defenders on the Best XI so we have grouped the nominees in 4 groups of 6. You are allowed to vote once per day in each group and the voting for defenders will close on Saturday at noon central time so make sure to come back each day and vote for your favorite to get them on our Twitter “team”.
