Last month we debuted the MLS Twitter Best XI, a “team” made up of your favorite MLS players on Twitter. So far in the voting, Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen; defenders Heath Pearce of Chivas USA, Zarek Valentin of the Montreal Impact and Bobby Boswell and Geoff Cameron of the Houston Dynamo; and midfielders Landon Donovan of LA Galaxy, Colin Clark of the Houston Dynamo and Danny Cruz and Dwayne De Rosario of DC United won the fan vote to earn their spots on the team. Once again, we have taken nominations from the fans and will leave it up to you to vote for the best player. We’ll leave it up to you on what you want to base your vote on; funniest guy, most interactive, best looking, our maybe a player on your favorite team.
Today we will unveil the forwards. There are 2 forwards on the Best XI so we have grouped the nominees in 2 groups of 6. You are allowed to vote once per day in each group and the voting for forwards will close on Wednesday at noon central time so make sure to come back each day and vote for your favorite to get them on our Twitter “team”.
