Nate Ebner has been one of the big Patriots absences this training camp but for good reason. Nate Ebner will be representing team USA Rugby in Rio. With pool-play starting tomorrow Ebner’s shot at bringing a gold metal to Foxboro will start.

“We’re all revved up as an organization just hoping that we can get to see him on a medal stand,” Kraft said. “When you think about a young man who was a walk-on at Ohio State, and then after one year, being the (Buckeyes’) Most Outstanding Special Teams Player — prototype Patriot”

Team USA Rugby is in group A with Argentina, Brazil, and Fiji. The group starts its pool-play tomorrow Tuesday, August 9th.

U.S. vs. Brazil: Tuesday, August 9 at 5 p.m.
