The Patriots and OT Nate Solder agreed to an extension which is reportedly a two year 20.1 million dollar deal (plus incentives). Solder was drafted in 2011 by New England during the 1st round out of the University of Colorado. Solder stands a mighty 6’8 and weighs 325 pounds. He is regarded as one of the top tackles in the game (underrated tackle) and is a durable guy. Brady is lucky to have Solder as his blind side protector when shifted over occasionally from left to right tackle, but he is a reliable tackle nonetheless. This was a great move for the Patriots as they enter the 2015 season with some comfort knowing they have Solder for a couple more years.
