Thanks to four total touchdowns from quarterback Nick Marshall, No.24 Auburn stymied Johnny Manziel and the seventh-ranked Texas A&M Aggies, 45-41, despite the reigning Heisman Trophy winner throwing for 454 yards and four touchdowns.

No.13 Stanford held off Brent Hundley and No.9 UCLA, 24-10, A 19-yard field goal by Michael Palardy enabled unranked Tennessee to upset nemesis Steve Spurrier’s Gamecocks 23-21 with no time left, Bulldogs quarterback Andy Murray would surpass Tim Tebow as the SEC’s all-time leader in total offense, yet see Vanderbilt earn its first upset of a Top 25 team since 2008.

Dodgers to Offer Clayton Kershaw $300 Million

Fresh from getting rocked 9-0 by the St Louis Cardinals in Game 6 of the NLCS Championship Series, Los Angeles is set to lock up their second coming of Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax in southpaw Clayton Kershaw.

According to media reports, the dodgers are in talks with Kershaw on a long-term deal reportedly over $300 million. The original talks happened earlier in the year but were never finished, now with the season over for Kershaw, both sides hope to hammer out a record deal for a pitcher over the winter.

Kershaw is set to become a free agent after the 2014 season.
