Well we know what the Cowboys hauled in over the weekend, but what about the rest of our arch rivals in the NFC East? Lets take a look at what the Giants, Eagles, and Redskins did this past weekend.

Each team including the Cowboys had a theme for their draft class. We see each other twice a year, so alot of the draft is used to help level the playing field. The Cowboys draft was defensive heavy; which, in theory meant our offense was good enough. The Giants and Eagles have solid defenses, so their theme was offensive improvements. Washington simply continued the theme from free agency and added even more defense in the draft. Not much was added to the offense
Whether by plan or coinicidence, I would say the Cowboys made the right moves to counter-act what the Giants and Eagles did. Our rivals went offense, and we went defensive backs and linebackers. I believe Sndyer thinks the Redskins offense is still effective, thus their upgrades on defense. We’ll see how these draft classes match up in a few years.
