Quarterback Tony Romo, who has led the Cowboys to a 4-0 start, was named the NFC offensive player of the month for September.
The Cowboys are 4-0 for the first time since 1995.
Romo has completed 72 of 121 passes for 1,199 yard and 11 touchdowns with three interceptions. His touchdown total is second in the league behind New England’s Tom Brady, who has 13.
