PITTSBURGH – According to ESPN Cleveland writer Tony Grossi on Twitter, Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski could be on the hot seat.
Chudzinski, the Toledo-area native and life-long Browns fan, is 4-11 in his rookie year in Cleveland. After a once promising 3-2 start, Cleveland has since gone 1-9 in their last ten games.
ESPN NFL insider, Chris Mortensen would also state that there is some internal turmoil and unhappiness in how the team folded in the second half of the year on his official Twitter.
Couple that with inconsistent play at the quarterback spot from Jason Campbell, Brandon Weeden, season-ending injuries to Brian Hoyer, tailback Dion Lewis, lack of a running game and an uninspired offense and Chudzinski could very well be in trouble. Other factors are the uncertainty over the pending FBI case of owner Jimmy Haslam III and his truck-stop company Flying J, could be an early sign of a possible fire sale in 2014.
