10 years from now as the 2011 season history starts to come in focus as all history takes time to be written. History will record how special the 2011 graduating class of Boise State was, people will debate it’s placement among the greatest classes ever in college football history. History will also record will record the turbulent times in America, a time when college graduates could find work so they took to the streets in mostly peaceful protest known as the OWS. While many today struggle for the reasons and causes of this nations down turn easy targets are always the haves.
While the OWS crowd lay their claims that the rich stepped over people to get what they have, most Americans this message falls on depth ears as Americans believe you work hard enough for something you will get what you earned, it’s the American way. Well you Mr. Delany and the B1G have certainly lead me to see their point after all this time I didn’t just turn a blind ear to the OWS crowd I laughed at them. Then I watch as the Sugar bowl passed on #4 Stanford to take you the least of all qualified Michigan, a third place at best B1G school. As I watched the twitter wires explode with speculation of who is going where we all seen the reports of V-Tech off to a bowl other than a BCS bowl which was expected with all things considering V-Tech had just gotten blown out for the second time to Clemson, a team with not a single top 25 win on their recorded a team that had to squeak out 14-10 victory against the might Duke Blue Devils at home none the less. The shock that crossed the web as word leaked that the Sugar didn’t just select Michigan but V-tech as it play mate rocked twitter hours before the official announcement.
This event exposed the rotten core that is college football but it does more than that it lend credence to the claims of the OWS crowd, that the money will always step on those who worked their way up, that those with privilege don’t have any honor, that greed and power comes first over right.
The efforts you have taken to avoid defeat for a second year to a NON AQ school speaks volumes to what the B1G stand for and none if it has anything to do with honor or integrity more like selfishness and childishness. To add insult to injury your comments on this day Dec 8th 2011 only further the reflection of just what a despicable human being you are, you are the crude of the system you are the dark shadow that cheats and stomps on anything in your way, you are the problem.
Brady Hoke shame on you, while even here in Michigan the papers scream of the injustice you have so been intertwined with, your total belief that a team that loses to a lowly Iowa got beat up by MSU and failed to play any other winning team in the B1G, to be so self-serving such a tool of Jim Delany’s works to show no humility no remorse for those you so undeservingly stepped over is shameful. Maybe you are being protected by those around you but I assure you the whole nation is looking own at you and your lack of honesty is only making it worse. Bo is rolling in his grave and I’m sure is hanging his head low. As Bo knows better than anyone what it is like to be out maneuvered off the field, Bo knows what injustice looks like and he would be ashamed of just what Michigan and you have allowed to been done in the schools name. You have smeared what Bo had worked so hard to build at Michigan. As a born and breed Michigander I’m a shamed maybe that’s why I’m so offended by the recent events, maybe that’s why I’m so angry as for many years I supported Michigan for most of my life I cheered for Michigan, not any more Michigan is dead to me and I’m sure I’m not the only one. In my eyes Michigan has shown itself to be the worst of the worst, Michigan has no right to ever complain.
Your action and your efforts will be recorded in history as being just what they were a cowardly act of self-promotion at the expense of others. History will record your efforts to build a belief in your program as being something more than it is, your efforts to manipulate perception will blow up in your face.
If there is a Lord in the Heavens and if he is so inclined to act my he empower V-Tech to blow your team off the field this year like some third rate sec team did last year, as you are undeserving at the least sinfully guilty of complacency at best. Frank Beamer is at least honest and humbled by what happen your glibness is unacceptable a pox shell be upon your house you dishonored the people of Michigan.
Mr. Delany trust me I understand the pressure your brand is under I understand you know your Wisconsin team has no chance against Oregon, your Michigan State team will struggle against Georgia. So you had to fix at least one game you better hope it works out but I have a feeling Frank Beamer is going to send you a message, Mr. Beamer has something you don’t possess honor integrity and I believe that trumps power grabbers like yourself.
Regardless of the results in the bowls history will record the greed of the B1G and Michigan trumped one of the greatest classes in college football history from getting what they earn.
