It was just two years ago when Orlando Scandrick signed a new contract extension, but since that time he has become the #1 CB on the team and has played solid football while others around him were making much more that he was.
Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne were all set to make more than Scandrick this year and that just didn’t sit well with Scandrick, but the Cowboys were able to hash out a fair re-do of his contract and at 28 yrs-old he will likely finish his career as a Dallas Cowboy.

It’ll be interesting to see where the Cowboys end up starting Byron Jones. If Carr remains on the team, Jones could unseat him, or it’s quite possible Jones makes the move to free safety.
I like the mix the Cowboys have at CB, and I’m especially anxious to see if Tyler Patmon can continue his solid play this coming year. Corey White will also be in the mix and gives the Cowboys a bit more size at corner.
Can training camp get here any sooner?
