Looks like there is some movement on the Orlando Scandrick “holdout” according to Clarence Hill.

The fact that Scandrick has decided to visit Valley Ranch is a step in the right direction. Scandrick is looking at reworking his deal from 2-yrs ago, but the Cowboys are not inclined to do anything as he is under contract; however, the Cowboys will likely make some sort of concessions on this one. Scandrick is the clear-cut #1 CB in Dallas and no one else on the team is even close to his caliber, yet.
The addition of Byron Jones could have spurred Scandrick’s willingness to visit the Cowboys in person.
One option the Cowboys could look at is converting more of his contract into guaranteed money, that’s probably what he’s looking at. He’s probably checking in on what the Cowboys plan to do with Carr and hope to get some of his money. Who knows, one thing is for sure, the Cowboys need Scandrick back there making plays and leading that secondary.
Let’s see what comes of this meeting.
What do you think, should the Cowboys re-do Scandrick’s contract again and pay him more?
