It seems we have found another thing that brings a smile to Bill Belichick’s face. besides winning we have now found his love for Bon Jovi is stronger than ever. With Jon Bon Jovi in attendance next to Rob Gronkowski and Donnie Wahlberg and right behind John and Robert Kraft. It was no surprise at some point Gillette was going to play one of their many hits.
It just so happened they played Livin’ on a Prayer and that sent Gillette stadium into a frenzy. With Jon Bon Jovi on the jumbotron to help direct Patriots fans as they echoed the lyrics throughout a commercial break. But the singing did not stop as they play resumed as Patriots fans echoed the lyrics during the kickoff as seen below and it came through very clearly on the CBS broadcast.

Head Coach Bill Belichick after the game called it a “special moment” and was asked about it again during this morning’s media conference call. “I was definitely aware of it, Jon, man, I’ve heard him play that song dozens of times. He had the place rocking, maybe a little more than we did. But there will be little time for jamming as Bill Belichick is back to work today preparing for Super Bowl LI in Houston Texas in just under two weeks.
