Time to pack up the plane and take the trip down to Texas where the Patriots will take on the Huston Texans. You better buckle up this is going to be a great game. The Patriots need to win, this is not a must win but for the health of everyone in New England it would be nice to win. As stated earlier in the week the Patriots have 5 different ways they can clinch the AFC East. Let’s hope this is the week that we finally do. This is attempt number 3 and its just time we don’t have to worry about it.

Tom Brady is ready to go this week as he was plastered with hits from all over last week. Brady said he’s “Fresh as lettuce.” I will take that as a good sign as I am hoping we don’t see another 99 yard pick 6. Brady also saying he has “a lot of confidence” in his blockers and that is the key to his clutch QB sneaks.

It will also be a reunion week for the Patriots as they will be reunited with former Patriots defensive Lineman Vince Wilfork, and former Patriots offensive Coordinator Bill O’Brien. Wilfork seems ready for the game he said “I got a job to do. That is my thoughts and I am looking forward to it. I am looking forward to seeing my guys.” You got to still have respect for Wilfork as he was a big part of the Patriots in his years with us.

Head Coach Bill O’Brien is also ready for the challenge saying “It’s a big challenge. I mean, it’s a big challenge to go up against a team that’s so well coached and has a lot of really good players, a great quarterback.”

But it will not be easy for the Patriots as they will have their hand full with J.J. Watt on Defense and DeAndre Hopkins on offence. “He does a lot of things well, too. I’d say it starts with his hands. He has great catching skills and a great catching radius.” That is what Belichick had to say about Hopkins. This will be key if the Patriots can contain Hopkins they will be in good shape. Hopkins averages 13.6 yard per catch, that is a crazy number and he will run all over the Pats if we let him.

J.J. Watt, well as we all know he is just a tank. In my eyes the main job of the offensive line will be to not let Watt get to Brady. Belichick had this to say about Watt “He’s pretty special. He does a lot of things really well, and everybody game plans for him every game. He gets a lot of double teams, the line sliding to his side, teams trying to run away from him, teams trying to handle him, but he does a good job with all of it. ”

I cannot wait for this game to happen. After 2 weeks of losing it is time to back to our old ways!
