Patriots Take Care Of Business In Dallas

Well it was just how we all expected it the Patriots dominated again. I was a little surprised to see the offense struggle a little in the first half before finally figuring out the Dallas defense. Belichick had this to say about the game “It’s a good feeling to come down here and win.  I’m really proud of our team today. I thought we got great complementary football from all three phases.  In our offense, defense, special teams, the way we started the game.  We had a quick series on defense.   Good punt return. Put our offense in good field position.  We had several of those during the day.  Couple of turnovers in the second half but real good field position.  The kicking game – Stephen kicked the ball well.  We had a big punt.  Good coverage by Sheard and a great kick by Ryan.  I thought that was really big for us. Defensively, we didn’t give up many big plays.”

Belichick also was not afraid to stand-up for his quarterback, he was asked about the toughness of Brady to which he replied “Tom’s one of the toughest players in the league.”  It is hard to say after that game that Brady isn’t the toughest player in the league he was sacked a total of five times in yesterday game.

Tom Brady was under pressure all night. The Cowboys defense was all over him but it did not slow Brady down as he would finish the day with 275 yards and 2 touchdowns. He had this to say about the Cowboys defense “It’s a good front. They’ve got big team speed. I was probably holding the ball a bit too long on some of the plays. The offensive line, I think they did a great job. I see some adjustments in different things. Four games into the year, you can’t practice everything. All we can do is make the adjustments and hope we do better next week.”

Well next week will be the fun one to watch as the Patriots take the trip to Indianapolis. Where there will be a rematch of the 2014-2015 AFC Championship game. So it will be Sunday night football next week for Brady and the Patriots.
