Peyton Manning On Patriots

Just this afternoon, longtime QB Peyton Manning has reached the end of his career and his hanging up the cleats after 18 unbelievable seasons. Manning mentioned in his always professional speeches, that Patriots fans have a special place in his heart and said this..

“I’ll even miss the Patriot fans in Foxboro,” Manning said, via ESPN.com’s Mike Reiss. “And they should miss me, because they sure did get a lot of wins off of me.” (NESN)

Manning also mentioned that he would miss the handshakes with Tom Brady after 20 hard fought games against T.B.12. Manning was a class act and lots of current and past NFL players sent Manning goodbyes and gave their sendoffs.

Manning also acknowledged Bill Belichick, Tedy Bruschi and former Pats defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel for their roles in Manning’s career and how he has developed as a player.
