Players Cowboys Met and Where They’ll be Drafted

money

We are just two days away from the NFL Draft and by now the Cowboys are buttoning up the draft board and running their own simulations and scenarios. The Cowboys will once again be under the guidance of the Draft Czar, Will McClay.

McClay wants players that have a passion for football and players that will help the team get closer to the ultimate goal – the Super Bowl.

Over the past few months I have compiled a list of players the Cowboys have met with in some capacity whether it be the East-West Shrine Game, Senior Bowl, NFL Combine, private invites, pro-days and I’ll project where I think the Cowboys will have these players graded.

Every year, the Cowboys picks are scrutinized for reaching on players or drafting players the casual fan has never heard of. Hopefully by now, we’ve introduced you to some of the obscure names and players to keep an eye on with my mock mock drafts and my Twitter feed. If you haven’t already, follow me!

To me there is going to be big value in the 2nd round, especially with the players they met and if the Cowboys’s 1st round board gets wiped out, I could see them moving down and/or trading out into the 2nd round.

What we have seen in previous drafts is that the Cowboys tend to select players they have met with in some capacity. Come draft day, come back to this article and see what names are still available by the time we make our pick. If you haven’t already pick up a draft guide and read up on the player we draft as the picks come in. I like the Official Cowboys Draft Guide and Dane Brugler’s 2015 Draft Guide.

Check back tomorrow for my final mock draft 7.0
