Sports HQ is seeking talented college students and journalism professionals who are looking to enhance their journalism resume by working in our trusted network.

At the moment, we are looking for Editors for the following websites.

Rams Headquarters (Los Angeles Rams) www.ramsheadquarters.com

Halo Headquarters (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim) www.haloheadquarters.net

However if you are interested in writing about another team , in either MLB or NFL please continue with the application. Sports HQ will be launching another website in the upcoming weeks covering all teams.

Both websites and the new one provides rumors, analysis and feature content on a daily basis. Our work has been shown on Yahoo Sports, USA Today, Yard Barker and much more.

Our writers are expected to achieve a minimum quota with opportunities to make additional bonuses by going above and beyond the quota expectation.

The ideal candidate for Halo, Rams or Sports HQ is the following:

• At least 1 year of journalism experience
• Knowledge of AP style guidelines
• Social Media savvy – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Flipboard, etc.
• Proficiency with WordPress.
• Experienced with deadlines, adhering to quotas.

Compensation structure is based on your production. Below is the following tiers that multiple writers have achieved with ease at our company.

• 6-8 articles produced a week = $1.00/article
• 9-11 articles produced a week = $1.50/article
• 12-17 articles produced a week = $2.00/article
• 18+ articles produced a week = $3.00/article

Bonus Structure:

• 50,000-99,999 total individual monthly views – $25
• 100,000-199,999 total individual monthly views – $75
• 200,000-299,999 total individual monthly views – $150
• 300,000-499,999 total individual monthly views – $250
• 500,000+ total individual monthly views – $500

This is a huge opportunity to build and grow your journalism experience with Sports HQ. Writers on the team have received full-time job offers from USA Today, Fansided and SB Nation. We’re looking for editorial positions, but you’ll have to earn it as we promote from within.
