The Los Angeles Rams are one of three NFL teams that will interview New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels on Saturday.
The Rams will travel out to the East Coast for the interview. League rules mandate that the interviews must be at an easy time and place relative to the current team for the coach.
Here’s what one reporter has learned about the upcoming interviews (via Boston Globe):
“The interviews will be conducted at a hotel near Gillette Stadium, with each team setting up shop in their own suite. Saturday is the only day that worked for McDaniels, as Patriots coaches are due back in the offices on Sunday to prepare for their divisional round game.”
McDaniels will also interview for the Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers.
New England defensive coordinator Patricia will also interview with the Rams and the San Diego Chargers on Saturday
Regardless, McDaniels is still considered the most likely candidate to become the next head coach for Los Angeles next season.
