Rams to Star in Season Two of All or Nothing

After appearing in an Emmy nominated season of HBO Hard Knocks the Los Angeles Rams will be the subject of Amazon’s football documentary series All or Nothing. The first season documented the 2015 Arizona Cardinals and showed a real behind the scenes look at how the front office put the team together and how delightfully profane head coach Bruce Arians can be. The Rams season will pick up where Hard Knocks left off. Hard Knocks depicted a Rams team that was just getting its LA bearings and preparing for the upcoming season. The second season of All or Nothing will focus on the Rams season itself and how the team had to start Jared Goff and how Jeff Fisher would ultimately be fired.

It might be rough for Rams fans to relive a 4-12 season but it might offer some catharsis as fans can see and appreciate how much flux the Rams were in and how stable everything seems to be now. Fans might also be curious if Amazon would be able to find something that the HBO crew couldn’t during Hard Knocks and that is a player worth connecting to. That isn’t to say that the Rams are devoid of personality its just that Hard Knocks was a slog because outside of Fisher’s infamous (and accurate) declaration “I am not f****ng going 7-9” and Jared Goff being unaware which way the sun rose, the Rams didn’t offer much in terms of story lines. The best thing that All or Nothing can offer is showing that the frustration of Rams fans were shared by the players themselves. Too often people get the idea that the players are only in it for the money and don’t care but this series can show that if a 4-12 season is awful for the fans that have to watch it, its much worse for the players that have to live it.

Amazon has yet to announce a release date for season two but the first season dropped on July 1st so it stands to reason that season two will premiere around the same time. Hopefully, the Rams can project a positive image in the face of a rough season and allow fans to truly connect with the team as a new regime is set to take hold. All or Nothing is distributed by Amazon featuring footage compiled by NFL Films.
