The offseason is here with lots of questions of what will happen to the Patriots it seems one of them may have just been put to rest. ESPN’s Ed Werder recently teewted saying that he does not expect Jimmy to get traded in this offseason.

So it seems the Patriots will hold onto their 62nd pick lottery ticket for another year. Garoppolo’s rookie contract does end at the end of next season. It would also seem the Patriots will not be trading him to the Cleveland Browns who hold the 12th pick in this years NFL Draft.
Garoppolo after finished this season completing 43-of-63 passes with four touchdowns, and no interceptions.
