Rob Gronkowski to have more of a downfield role on Sunday vs. Browns

New England Patriots v Indianapolis Colts

Gronk fantasy owners rejoice.

With Tom Brady returning to play quarterback for the New England Patriots on Sunday, tight end Rob Gronkowski is expected to have more of a downfield role, according to Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com.

Gronkowski missed the first two games of the season due to a hamstring injury and has been limited the past two games, catching just one pass on two targets. This is mainly due to the fact that Gronkowski is not 100 percent and that the Patriots had two inexperienced quarterbacks playing for them during Brady’s four-game suspension.

Now that Brady is back, however, look for Gronkowski to start playing like his old self. The four-time All-Pro is coming off a solid 2015 campaign, which saw him catch 72 passes for 1,176 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Assuming Brady isn’t rusty, Gronkowski should have a big game against the Browns, who have already allowed 10 passing touchdowns on the season.
