The preseason finale is upon us.
The only thing standing between now and the regular season is Saturday’s matchup with the Boston Bruins. The Flyers will trot out a lineup that could very well be the one that takes the ice come next Friday.
With a slew of injuries hampering the roster — Michael Del Zotto, Scott Laughton and Brandon Manning — there’s new hope for some of the fringe players with one last chance to impress the coaching staff before they put their heads together and make the opening night lines.
