The roster moves continue for the Dallas Cowboys, mainly on the defensive side of the ball. Looks like Michael Sam will have a home in Dallas if he passes his physical, which I’m sure he will.
UPDATE: Sam was signed to the practice squad and the Cowboys released LB, Will Smith
Per Schefter:
Cowboys plan to bring Michael Sam to Dallas for a physical Wednesday, per team source. If all goes well, Sam will be a Cowboy.

The Cowboys are literally looking any and everywhere for defensive help. Sam has credentials. SEC defensive player of the year and he had a solid preseason with the Rams. Sam got caught up in the numbers game in St. Louis where they are very deep on the line.
I honestly think the Cowboys are preparing themselves to miss Selvie for a few weeks. Supposedly Selvie is practicing and will play the season opener, but with all the moves they are making I wonder if there’s a chance Selvie will need to have his shoulder scoped. It always happens, you get surgery and then you need a follow up scoping. I’m hoping that’s not the case, but I’m not sure.
