Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas cherishes his personal life and family.
He is a competitive player with drive and ability but also seeks balance.
That’s why Stefanos achieved the best of both worlds on Sunday when he and his brother Petros won their first ATP doubles title in Antwerp.
Years ago, Stefanos Tsitsipas was asked about why he chose to play doubles with his brother, Petros:
“I would only do it for my brother, and no one else. I want to build a team with him, exclusively with him”
Today, they won their first ever title – an ATP 250, in Antwerp 👏🏆 pic.twitter.com/Y4jMOGxklj

Winning with his brother is a lifelong dream neither could imagine coming true as they hit tennis balls with each other as kids.
Following the win at the 2023 European Open in Antwerp, Stefanos called it one of his career’s most meaningful and emotional wins.
Stefanos Tsitsipas says winning 1st doubles title with his brother Petros is more special than his singles titles:
“There are certainly a lot of emotions. I must say that I have played a lot of tournaments in my life, I have won a lot of titles, and I have great memories. But… pic.twitter.com/IyREhtk04t

Next on tennis fans’ wishlist is a mixed doubles tournament win with girlfriend Paula Badosa.
The pair planned to play at Wimbledon until Paula withdrew because of injury.
Badosa recently indicated that mixed doubles could happen at the 2024 Australian Open.
Paula Badosa hopes to play mixed doubles with Tsitsipas at Australian Open:
“Things aren’t good at the moment. You need time to heal from a stress fracture..I hope to be ready in January. I hope to be in Australia in January and to play mixed doubles with Stefanos”❤️
